Hello everyone. I am working on my project and i want to ask a question to you. Now on my bike starts with a car batery and work well but when i take of the connection of the car batery,  bike stops . My bikes batery is death .

 Can a cb750 work without batery afer starting , or do i have a charging problem ?

as far as i know the bike needs a battery because the alternator needs power to make power. makes sense to me that it shouldnt need one after starting but i dont think it will run without one.

Below around 3000 rpm the charging system will not put out enough to run all the electrical load thus it pulls the additional load from the battery so yes, you need a battery and may have a charging problem.
