Topic: picking up a 2nd 550 in a week, It IS an addiction

I am so happy with my first 550, I am adding a 2nd to the collection. Found another 74 with only 13K on it. Newer tires. newer paint. and for only $800, i think its a steal.

I told the lady to take a safety class and get her endorsement, she's all into it and wants a bike before the class. if she hates riding, then I have 2.  If not, I get to choose from 2. How can I lose here?

I know how you feel man. I got my first one for free it was a frame and motor. picked up my second one for 100 bucks not running. and am now got 3. one that runs but needs carbs due to previous owner and 2 in pieces. its addicting man. Since all of this happend in like 3 weeks.   and its cool to here ur lady wants to ride.  Im trying to get mine done so I can start on my girlfriends bike.

I like how you painted the chrome rear fender black. Goes well with the black bike! Or, maybe it just LOOKS black, and its the camera playing tricks on me

I did paint the fender. I blacked the whole bike out! I already got the front fender too, still have to get the headlight ears. I would also like to hit the bars and wheels too, but I will probably powder coat what I can this winter. I am getting excited again thinking how I have 2 to disassemble and work on.

I ended up with 2 650's but because they were both running I didn't have time to ride both so I had to sell one.
It's OK when they are in bits but when they are road ready you gotta ride em.
I still have 4 bikes in the shed, 1 is mine 2 are my partners and one I'm doing for my son, roll on Summer.

Looks like you missed the grab bar, rear shocks, engine, rear brake lever, spokes and hobs, rims...
