1970 CL100

I am out in the drive working on the 88 Virago I got. This guy pulls up and says...you like to work on old bikes? I said yes. He said i got one I will give you. Walk to the back of the truck and there it sat...70 CL100. He said it was running and it wouldnt start anymore. So we unloaded it. He handed me the title and off he drove. 397 miles on it. Couldnt believe it! Looks like kids had it and it was dropped a few times. Cleaned the tank and cleaned the carb and she started right up. Nice bike. Not sure what I am going to do with this one.

No way.  I'm throwing the BS flag on this one.  Nobody has that good of luck!!  Total stranger drops off a cherry, and even has the title WITH him??

I can almost match that story.  I was given a 10 year old 1980 CB125S with 380 miles.  The "title" was actually the certificate of origin(what a dealer gets with a new vehicle, and gets turned into a title when a dude( or dudette) buys it.

I miss that bike.  But then I miss them all.
