If it was a K0 frame I'd agree entirely, but the K8 was the end of the line, at a time when Honda was being killed in the big bike stakes by Kawasaki and Suzuki with their DOHC "Musclebikes", and the cosmetic changes from the earlier K's were not as readily accepted by the buying public. It's doubtful that a bare K8 frame will be of particular interest to a prospective collector.
This is not to say they weren't a great bike, and had arguably the best engine. I'm sure a K6 owner would say use the K8, or a K3 owner would say Use a K2 etc etc, that's just human nature. If I can't get the f@cking alternator rotor off my engine soon, you can have my whole F2, and I'll throw in an angle grinder, ha ha! Cheers, Terry.
