how to; 55 t-bird in 4 weeks
« on: August 05, 2009, 07:44:14 PM »
I hav'nt been working on any CB's or riding much lately, But I have started working full time in my dads bodyshop. This is our first start to finish project, together, in a very long time. I have worked a lot of hours in this shop, in the past it had been as a hobby or to fill time, We are going to try it full time.

Raef's auto body has been in the same location of 30 years

Very nice!

It's cool that you get to work with your dad again.  My dad and I didn't get along too well when I was younger, but now that he's a grandfather and has mellowed out, he and I spend a lot of time working on his projects together when my family goes to visit.  We're planning on moving back to Texas in a couple of years, and it would be really cool to start a bike project together.

hey bill
I like chevy Hot Rods and old English sports cars not much of a ford anything fan, especially this one, one of the reasons it went so fast is it is oneof dads deals gone bad.

I have worked on this car for a month for free to get it out of the shop. what we do for fam ::) Dad did give me a 1969 MGB project car ;D

I'm mainly Mopars, but give respect to a number of the GM models and even to some of the Fords as well. English sports cars are in there as well (especially the MGs, Austin Healys, Triumphs and Jaguars. My Dad once had a Morris Minor car (2dr), which he ended up making a deal with a guy, to trade his 2dr body for a station wagon body (black with wood trim and with red
interior).

Awright! I  am hoping to see some stuff on that MGB. ;)

Some nice wheels and tires would really improve the car, I think. Nice work otherwise.
