Musketball

I've finally come to a place I can rest for a while on this.
After I put rear-sets on, the sideboxes really restricted my feet- so I took them off.  What a huge relief!  In doing so, I removed one of the air boxes and put a Uni pod over the air intake.  Along with a slightly freer (is that a word?!) exhaust and one-size-up jet, the bike isn't especially faster, but it defiitrly enjoys the top end much more.  It also holds speed going up long inclines MUCH better.

On the right side, I took all the airconditioning off and in so doing, got rid of a lot of plumbing.  2 vent tubes are now going into the coke bottle ala AHRMA folks.  Purists will probably hate that, but it prevents this milkshake-looking schmutz from getting all over the bike.  The electrics (fuse, solenoid, etc) are now in the 3" PVC tube attached to the sidebox tabs.

Just got the tank back from Andrew Cowell who fixed a major rattle- a baffle came loose and CMW (Royal Enfield) would not back their warranty- Caveat Emptor!  He is very reasonable- but postage- YOW!!!

funny you should ask...
Only Chinese scooter owners and Royal Enfield owners know what a sprag clutch is, because they blow up so easily.  Well, this morning I found out mine crumbled like burnt toast.

I seem to have an unhealthy attraction to sick animals.  No sane person should buy a Bullet.  It's a pleasant enough ride when it works, though.

Nice job! And, 'freer' definitely should be a word.
