Yup!  You read it right.  Greenfield Mass.  I parked on the street and promptly turned a bum down who asked for change before I had my helmet off.
I went for a ride tonight and felt my tank up (as I do when I ride) and there's this big dent.  That bike has been parked in the garage for a month with nothing to fall on it nor has it fallen over, therefore, it had to happen on the street.  I'm thinking carpet bombing.  Now where did I leave the keys to my B-52.
BTW:  It wasn't a SOHC, but it was my Interceptor.  I just repainted the tank last year.  ARRRGH!!!  Who can I maim?

This world is full of people that feel entitled to be helped by their fellow man.  And when they don't get that help (the way THEY want it), they either refuse the help or get pissed off and feel justified to take revenge.

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

I was in Massachusetts.  It's totally different than Vermont.  Hmmm.  Bum-hunting.  That would take care of the homeless problem, wouldn't it?

Maybe a call to the local cops (who likely know just who you're dealing with) will add another complaint to this guys list of offenses?  Odds are he's pissing off the locals too and one more issue may be enough to get him off the street.

This is another reason Vermont is a cool place to ride, and MA is... well I was born here and I'm still here, what can I say?

I know what you're feeling!
In college, I had my 1977 Olds 98 parked along a wall. Somebody jumped off the wall onto the roof. Never found out who did it. If I had, they'd never have been able to jump again!

I don't get it... On the way home from work I saw a Dodge Charger with the plates "ENVY ME" on it.  Now why do people care what other's have? If you want it, go buy it. If you can't, then work for it. If you still can't get it for yourself, you must not want it bad enough!

The problem with my bike is that it is flat black and 24 years old.  Not many people envy that type of bike, which is good.  Now that it's all dented up, I can park it in the hood with out fear of someone putting a dent in it.  Now if I could just find a "hood" in Vermont.

I'm sorry dude that sucks. In defense of the homeless guy, it is possible it wasn't him and was some other @#$% jerk. Either way, I'd be mad. I don't understand why others feel they can disrespect someone and it's ok. I don't mess with their stuff, I expect the same. It should be a law, you mess with my ride and anything I do to you is fair game, wonder if we could get that passed  8)

In San Francisco, if someone took too much interest in my bike, I'd give them a dollar and tell them there would be five more if they keep an eye on the bike while it's parked.  Cheap "insurance".  They do it in Mexico, why not here?
