CB550 EBC brakes dont fit.

Has anybody had this problem? These brakes barley fit on. Like if you want them on you would have to hammer them on and then they would be so tight they would not move. Also if they were on the edges hit each other. See pics

I've had similar problems with EBC brake pads, they needed a little grinding before they fit properly.
Even had to do it once with Ferodo pads.

i had the same sort of problem with the front pads on my k4, i had to sand most of the thickassed paint off of the metal plate to get the pad to go into the caliper

I don't know how tight they are, but it looks like from the top most picture that you MIGHT be able to put the one on the left on first and then the one on the right.  Maybe its the picture, but it kinda looks like the seam is stepped a little on each pad to allow them to fit together like that.  It could be the picture though....

I got them on. I reamed them out a little with the biggest bit i had and then i ground down the edges. Kinda dumb that a set of brake pads for a 550 need that much work to make them fit.
