i'm thinking that maybe this spring, once the temps are starting to get into the 70's, i'd like to do a barbecue/benchracing day at my house. i'm a hell of a cook and maybe have folks bring a salad or a covered dish or something like that. i can put tents in the back yard and for those of us that dont want to sleep in a tent there are many inexpensive hotels in the area. maybe even make a weened of it and do a sightseeing ride or do a group trip to our local zoo or one of the many museums here in town. i've really wanted to meet more of the members from the forum and i think that this may be a great way to do it. for those either staying here or right in forest acres we can even do beer, my wife doesnt drink so she could even shuttle folksthat have had too much to drink to their hotels. planning this far ahead at first sounded silly to me when the wife suggested it but then i decided that this way i could really get plans set and not have to rush to do stuff. we're in columbia south carolina, in what are called the midlands, center of the state. any other ideas or suggestions you can om me, put the idea here or pm me for my email addy. hell maybe we could even get members together and have a band?  ;D

  • Life is short ...go for a ride now
Great idea, it gives me some additional incentive to get the my bike done too. How cool would that be to make my maiden voyage out to bucky katt's for a gathering of the SOHC world.

OK gotta go and work on that master cylinder or some other item.
