Old School NY Noise
« on: August 07, 2009, 03:23:55 PM »
New toy. Found w/ carbs in a paper bag, no front brakes, last started about 20 years ago. 2 hours later I got it roaring like a lion in heat and holds an idle w/o any tweaking. Omigod it sounds friggin awesome! That ain't no stock motor. And that ain't no baffle!
Makes that kinda sound you used to hear back in the day when badass bikes were draggin and rippin' down the boulevard while you were hangin-out at 2AM on a hot humid summer night drinkin beers in Queens, NY. You could hear 'em for miles letting it all hang-out. The new bikes don't sound anything like this, son.
  I think I'm in luv....

That is just super cool! I am very jealous!

You should ride it to Rice-O-Rama so I can get a better look ;-)
