Give it up... that's a comprehensive list...but there are always things you will have forgotten. ;D

Can't remember seeing such a detailed list.  You have obviously done your research.

Are you going to post a build thread under the "Projects" section?

I would love to see this thing come together.

I'll start a post in the projects thread in a week or so...

I've rebuilt the carbs, Master Cylinder (i lost part of my soul) and have cracked the case open.
Found my original case was too damaged to my liking so sourced a replacement after a point in the right direction from Terry in Aus.  Unfortunately then cracked a stud in the replacement case, its currently of getting removed at a machine shop.

Cracking the case is the easy part, I'll start a topic in the Projects Thread when I start the rebuild, trust me I'll need the support!  :o

For now, just after advice from others on parts that always need to be replaced during a rebuild so I can obtain them prior.  -- Hate to waste a year of Sundays because a part I need is locked up in a closed parts dealer...

As for the extensive list, I've got it all in excel and will paste it for all to see upon completion, including a total project cost.

My philosophy, leave a place better than you found it.
If I can save someone time and money cataloguing it all then its worth it, everyone here have been very helpful, as I lack experience its the only way I see I can contribute to the SOHC community.

Toxic is right - you can keep going and going and going but you've got a good list there. Maybe I'd add a set of HD rolled studs for your current list with some tapered steering head bearings and bronze swingarm bushings but you've got the engine covered without heading off into close ratio gearboxes and stuff like that.... should be a great build thread! ;)

Wow....

Do you have an estimate on what all THAT will run you??

I would also love to see this build in it's entirety and in all it's glory...

Looking forward to it.
Cafe Racing is mainly a matter of taste. It is an atavistic mentality, a peculiar mix of low style, high speed, pure dumbness, and overweening commitment to the Cafe Life and all its dangerous pleasures. I am a Cafe Racer myself, on some days - and it is one of my finest addictions. ~H. S. Thompson~
