I almost rattle canned my tank matt silver. If it wasnt so nice now I would! Not sure what the crinkle would look like? Like trunk paint?

If you do only the tank and fenders I think it look cool.  I saw one at a bike show 3 years ago.  It was sprayed with truck bed linner.  Not wrinkled, but textured.
If you do the side covers as well I think it looks overdone.

Someone was playing with hammered-finish paint a while back, I think that looked cool.

Wrinkle paint I've never seen on tank and fenders, could look cool but it depends on the paint because different ones give different amounts and/or quality of wrinkles I think.
