The whole point of these threads is to explore the "prurient interests", so there is no 1st amendment speech protection for them anyway.

Ed, are you off your Meds? I think "prurient interests" hardly describes these threads. Check the Calendar, Herbert Hoover is no longer the President.

Prurient Interest test was devised in 1984 actually.  Amazing how quickly standards run down the #$%*ter, isn't it?

Just went back and read Ed and BobbyR's exchange;
First, let me say I sent a picture to Mr Stauffer and he OK'd it.  I guess it was Mr Wessner who got nervous?  Next time, I'll know better who to check with.

As regards prurient interests;  The old addage of "I know it when I see it" is probably adjustable.  Most of the stuff in one topic is probably prurient, but the stuff I post here, I consider historical art.  I don't get why a painting by a Flemish master is all that different from a postcard from the 20's.  Who knows- the oil painting may have been considered porn in it's day.
Then, of course, there's the National Geographic thing...  I guess if you're 12 years old, it could be "trouble".  God knows it's just not right for a 12 year old boy to get a hard-on.  Bad bad bad.  Icky.  Sinful, too.

It has to be a pretty blatant violation for me to unilaterally delete something. I generally respond to mult. complaints. Also, I was not aware of the pre-approval.

But, I would have to add this Bob..... Complaints from someone on this thread or the Babe thread will most of the time be from people who should not be looking on the thread in the first place. Every one that I have ever seen removed has either been a totally blatant abuse of the rules or one that was truly art or a question of interpretation

Hey, I don't like the sound of the word "exchange" in this context.  It sounds like we were arguing or something.  I didn't think we were.  I was just pointing something out.  Mind you, I like these threads and post in them sometimes.   I have never reported any images found here, and likely never will.  In fact, I once posted a nip without thinking, then went back and modified the post.
