wow. I hope this thing doesn't make the bike lean too much. lemme see if there is room for a brick behind the side cover.

maybe I'll just carve the big black heatsink to the shape of a side cover.

okay seriously....
A chunk cut from the corner of the big black heat sink('90 T-Bird Premium Sound amp) would be plenty, and will likely shoehorn into the stock location. I'll apply a generous smear of thermal compound when mounting the bridge.
I think I will run the
+ side through a circuit breaker(call it a 30A, what the heck) to the battery side of the starter solenoid. The
- side will likely run directly to a frame ground. This will eliminate several troublesome connectors, as well as taking a large part of the load away from the already stressed green harness wire(ground).
As for the yellow(stator) wires, I will probably take the terminals out of the engine harness connector and put them in a separate plug. A short set of wires from there to the bridge's
~ terminals completes the circuit and eliminates another connector set and the power panel wiring.
After the wires are screwed on(where are those mil-spec ring terminals?) a thick coat of 'liquid tape' should keep the weather out.

B.O.X.N.I.F.E., thanks for letting us in on the deal - looks like good parts.
Happy trails.
