My fav thing to do w/ a motorcycle is play w/ it; that includes many ways of doing so: riding, detailing, modifying, restoring, matching rpm's and gears, winding it out, leaning it into a sweeper, cruisin' w/ the bros, AND playing w/ the exhaust note. Its like playing a musical instrument when the bikes in sharp tune and you know how to throttle it just right. The CB750 makes all the right noises, (especially w/ a set of HM300's), and I really get a kick outa hearing my Yosh pipe on my cafe, and now THIS puppy comes along w/ a hot-rodded motor and open headers. I have a 5hit-eating grin hearing this thing light-up.
I'm also in the early stages of losing my hearing. Guess 35 years on loud bikes will do it. This bike literally HURTS my eardrums when I crack it wide-open, it needs a little toning down. Cops will give me no slack if its the wrong cop.
And too quiet is not what a bike like this is about. Quiet works on modern bikes; vintage bikes need some MODERATE noise.
