Spoke Tension (again?)

Professionally, I have built numerous bicycle wheels but never a motorcycle wheel : (

The rim is laced correctly and am beginning the spoke tensioning process.

Tensioning a wheel/spoke by pitch does not work for me.

Does anyone know the max. spoke tension for a '76 CB750 K6 front wheel (2 Cross - 40 spoke)? 

(yeah sure everyone knows that off the top of their head lol)

I have found threads that discussing nipple torque but no values regarding spoke tension.

More important then nipple torque would be the truthyness of the wheel.  Do you have it in a truing stand and is it true?

I went ahead and Googled "Nipple Torque".  Sure hope the missus doesn't look at my browser history!!  ;D

i do have it in a truing stand (and i do have spoke tension meter)

just started taking up the initial spoke slack and not to the point of truing
