Hello from not-so-summery Norway!
« on: August 11, 2009, 10:56:09 PM »
Hi there.
Bought myself a CB550K recently, and found this board while searching for info on the bike.
I promise random and infrequent contributions, given i have two young boys (2years and 6 months) two jobs and am about to start studying for a teaching degree! I've collected a bundle of totally unrelated parts in the hope that i'll be able to add some of them to the bike, remove some others and end up with something vaguely cafe-ish.
Seems like there's an enormous wealth of information here.
Looking forward to being able to put it to use!
cheers
Bret

Welcome!  I don't remember anyone from Norway checking in before.  How's the riding scene over there?

Welcome from NY. You have come to the right place for advice. We did have another member from Norway. He was a member of the Pyro Riders who are Firemen in Norway.
Dedicated to Sgt. Howard Bruckner 1950 - 1969. KIA LONG KHANH.

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?

Where i live it's short and intense! Bergen is known as the rainiest city in the world. We get 280+ days a year where it rains here.
When there's a nice  day, the sound of bike exhausts echos off the mountains around the town.

Sounds like a film that would star Dolf Lundgren    ;D :D :o

Assumed from your avatar that you had been to the SSDB thread... that same pic had been posted the day you showed up, musta been serendipity instead!
