THis one still has the fuel injection as well, along with the stock exhaust system, but I like mine better even though the Black Paint makes it look menacing to me.

You know Bill....I do like yours better. There is way to much black on that bike. Too much of a good thing can be bad.

I agree, now, I DO think that it could be made to look menacing with black, but not sure if the GPZ would wear it well though. I've seen a beautiful Blackbird that was done in black and I thought it looked good. I think I like the way the GPZ is done, is kinda like I like the Kawasaki that is done in green with some accents because it is sort of an identifier. Maybe I didn't put that too well, but do you know what I mean? ??? :) I can't think of what that model is, that is done in green but it is nearly the same style as the GPZ. One of the first things that my local buddy asked me was if it had the stock exhaust system on it, to which I replied that it had a Kerker 4 into 1. I like the sound of the Kerker too. In the photo, I thought I wouldn't like the silencer on ther, but it doesn't look bad (to me) in real life. I won't be doing much to this one except ride it, see about detailing it out this winter and riding it more as soon as possible! ;)  When I am not riding the CBX! :D or working on a project suitable for here! ;D Man, after thinking about all of that, I think I'd better start taking vitamins and trying to get into some kind of shape! :o    Nah!!!!! Nix that "Getting into shape" THis body's built for COMFORT, NOT Speed! (unless it's on a bike or in a car! :D :D

Yep, you read it right, that GPz1100 was sold for $685.00 and the new owner has tron it down to sell  on ebay. I KNOW that it's not a HONDA, but it's STILL a piece of HISTORY and it KILLS Me to see a bike of THAT ancestry, parted out like that. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll get down off of my soapbox! :P

probably the bike i regret selling the most out of a ton ive owned....EFI worked like a charm and had 18,000km's on it.  1981 KZ1100B1.  Funny how slow they are now though compared to modern rockets...a modern 600I4 has close to the same jam..(less TQ i guess)

another side shot of my 81

i actually had a minty 83 750 non turbo at the same time too....but i hated the way the 83 rode compared to the 81...to closely related to the ninja i guess.

My g/f's friend in the city 2 hours away from ours has a 83 GPz 750 Turbo that is awesomely minty clean.  The biggest baddest EFI turbo bike there was.

here is my 83 i very happily traded on an 07 Ducati GT1000.
Bought this one from the original owner who bought it for his wife new in 83.  43,000 km's and had no grease or oil on it anywhere.

In MY opinion, both the 81' GPZ1100 AND the 83' GPZ750 are TOUGH looking bikes and would DO an owner PROUD to have them on his (or her) driveway. 8) ;)
