Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada

Stoney Creek is at the Western end of Lake Ontario.  Great bike riding routes along the Niagara Escarpment through wine country.

Ah a real Virginian.  Glad to meet you!  I have spent a good deal on time in your battlefields, if you have never gone it is a great day, (even if you don't like civil war stuff)  I spent a summer in Colonial Heights.
These wonderful little birds are great flyers, delicious eating, excellent for training your hunting dog, and just fun to shoot,or stuff and keep around the house.  Bobwhites can be put with other types of Quail and have very large penis's.  Quail are very popular with the babes.

Well Terry me old mate, you really managed to stuff up this thread, didn't you? All we wanted to know is where you're from, NOT WHAT PISS YA DRINK! Now look what you've started. I've now found out more about international grog than I need to know. As for where I live, I'm still trying to decide. I own homes in Dubbo, Narromine and Geurie. Presently living in Dubbo but about to sell up here and move to Geurie. A population of 500 is more attractive than 40,000. Mind you, it's only 40kms from where I am now. And Narromine? I'm about to put that on the market as well and buy myself a GoldWing with the part of the profits. Yeah, yeah - I'm gonna keep the K2. Need something to pull down and blueprint. I've given the idea of the V4 1300 Yammie a wide berth. Just something about Hondas. Oh BTW - give me a bottle of Johnnie Walker Black any day.

G'Day Steve, well mate, with some expensive real-estate like that you could sell all three houses and buy a Goldwing and maybe TWO bottles of Johnny Walker, ha ha! Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

No, not the result.  Not surprised though given our form in the run-in.

Still, 7th is 2 places higher than last year.

I was at Wembley in '94 when we lost the Premiership playoff final to Bolton in extra time. Grown men weeping.

This sports talk looks like a thread drift.....      Next we will be talking beer on this thread.  Why is it all long threads lead to beer.  Did I mention I love beer.  They use fire to make beer don't they!  I think the fire gods drink beer. Fire makes my cb fly.  Did I mention I love fire.

Hi SS,

Yes we had it out the weekend before last at a sprint in Somerset (Weston Zoyland), but the gearbox threw a fit (sorted now).
It belongs to my mate Chris and this is our third season.
Have you ever been to a sprint meeting?.

My mother was from Texas- I've spent time there. Wondring if the Texans clicked on "other"?  All the ones I've met consider Texas to be it's own country. Except for Houston, I'd have to agree.
Asheville NC (still miss San Francisco, though both areas have killer roads!)
Dude- your 8 layers are showing!

Hello to all out there.

I'm from Cold Lake, Alberta, Canada. Home to Canada's largest Airforce Base, and Exercise Maple Flag.

Still do not have a photo of my bike, but I will post it as soon as I get one. I have a print from 20 years
ago that I need to scan for me to post. Otherwise, we all have to wait for me to finish assembling it.

Cheers to all,
Lou

Terry, today we had a "SEVERE" thunderstorm roll through.

But up here in Alberta, it is just heavy rain and some lightning.
It has been like this for about a week and a half now.

Things have been slow for me as we have been tending to my
Father-in-law's funeral arrangements. So, this along with my usual
work routine does not afford me much time to be in the garage.

I've got some time off this summer. Going to spend some working
on my bike.

Cheers.
Lou.
