That's an interesting looking beast in your avatar mate, what are you building? Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Vmax put some pix in the gallery, but I think we need way more descriptive narrative! I used to get Classic Bike, and a lot of these guys in England are genii (hey- I looked it up) with too much time on their hands. Some of the stuff they build blows my mind.
Dude- your 8 layers are showing!

Originally from Campbelltown west coast of Scotland. Now living in Kirkwall, Orkney a group of Islands of the north coast of Scotland.
I'm sure there are one or two more SOHC fours here but haven't seen them yet.

Bought my bike in Belfast last year and shipped it home. Would have driven it but didn't want to break down on the way seeing as the bike had been in a garage for seven years. Got it on the road and it runs like a treat. Great to be riding again after too many years on four wheels. Not be long now til i'll be trying to stop my bairns nicking rides on it. ::)

G'Day Bob, a "Bairn" is Scottish gibberish for "Child". How do I know? I come from a town called Bairnsdale, named by one of those kilt wearing, bagpipe blowing, haggis munching, whiskey swilling, Rod Stewart loving Scots by the name of Angus McMillan, ha ha! Cheers, Terry. ;D

Terry and clarkjh, isn't that a beautiful bridge.

That photo brings back many memories. I grew up not too far from Hartland.
In a small city named Edmundston. It has been 26 years since I left that area
to join the military. Now retired, living in Cold Lake, Alberta.

Thanks for the quick trip down memory lane.

Cheers,
Lou.

Hi mrbreeze,

thanks for the comments. The seat is from a Yammy XS1100. I got it many years ago from a fellow that installed a "king/queen" seat on his bike. I drilled my original pan along the edge and used the XS's foam as well. I just pinched off the excess foam to make it all fit on the pan. I then laced the leather to the pan using a leather lace. That was over 20 years ago, and it is still holding strong.

Cheers,
Lou. ;D

It sure looks good.I think I will print a pic of it and see if I can find a shop that make me up one.I really hate the looks of the stock seat. I used to have a Kawi 1000 LTD that had a nice step seat that blended well with the tail piece but I don't think it would blend well on my 75 750 K. Yours however does look nice. Take care....MrBreeze

Hey, mrbreeze. Send me an e-mail at "ltheriau@telusplanet.net" and I'll send you a couple of close up shots of the seat.

I'm going out to the garage right now to take them......OK.....got some pics. Here's one for you. Others thru e-mail.

Understand that this was done ove 20 years ago. It is starting to show its age.

Lou.

Mudd Island TN?
These wonderful little birds are great flyers, delicious eating, excellent for training your hunting dog, and just fun to shoot,or stuff and keep around the house.  Bobwhites can be put with other types of Quail and have very large penis's.  Quail are very popular with the babes.
