What happened to the section at the bottom of the main forum page that showed the 8 or 10 latest posts..??

And why is the "Show new replies to your posts" link bringing back EVERY thread you ever replied to??  Sounds like an opps happened.

It may have something to do with the site "stalling". Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

It was probably removed as it requires more DB queries and server resources, less stress on the server and DP mean less lag and 504's.

The latest post section at the bottom of the page was a real problem as far as site performance is concerned, so I followed suggestions to remove that section.

Unfortunately, in making changes to the site, the 'new posts' and 'new replies' counters had to get reset for everyone.  Fortunately, this was a one-time change.

Thanks Glenn!  Keep doing the good things you do!  I can't imagine my bike would have ever been raised from the dead without tremendous knowledge and efforts on this site!
