Sorry Bill can't help you but thought the town sounded familiar. That is where I bought my CB750 last fall. It was a long ride............ :o

I like my women a little big. Natural. Now, they shave this and wax that. It's not right. I love natural women. Big women. This trend in women has to go. Bulomia, anorexia. That's just wrong.           I'll say it's a LONG ride. It's almost 12yhrs from me, according to Map Quest, right near Minnesota. Well, there is only a little over 6hrs left on the listing and I can't seem to raise the seller anyway. Back in the day, I'd have just done the deal, drove out, picked it up and brought it back. No problem. Now, to face to reallity of my getting older, tyhe different things I have going and all, I'd be looking at an overnighter! ::)

Bill, I bought a bike and a car that way.  Both were NOT as represented and I spent A LOT of money on them to get them even driveable.  (they both looked good)
Should have learned my lesson the first time,,,

Okay, Now that I have won the bid on a CZ175 (73' or 74', it's uinclear) The seller has responded that he might can bring it down to Fort Leonard Wood, MO next month when he picks up his son from AIT and I could meet him there. Thing is, he didn't say how much he'd want (or if he'd want something for bringing it with him since he's coming anyway. I'm waiting to hear back on that one. If he's gonna want quite a bit or is skeptical about doing that, even though he suggested it, I guess I'll bite the bullet and go get it (about a 12hr drive from where I am) BTW, here's the ebay listing:

Well, if the seller will do what he suggested, I can get to Fort Leonard Wood, MO and that is a little over 4hrs for me. If not, then  Anything that anyone can offer to help to get it over to where I could meet hem, would be of great assistance and deeply appreciated. I only came upon this deal this afternoon and I don't know how I missed it earlier, cause I've kinda been just looking around on ebay. I'll be in touch Tim (and on here also). Thank you, Bill  ;)

I just got back from a long weekend and saw this.  It's not to far from Minneapolis.  If you really get stuck I could possibly pick it up and stash it here for a while but it would be difficult to do any more than that.   My issue is I am leaving on the 23rd for a week long canoe trip coming back on the 31st and then leaving on Sept 10 for 12 days in Montana.

I appreciate that, if I can't come up with anything else, the seller said that he COULD bring it down to Fort Leonard Wood, MO next month and meet me there. If push comes to shove, I've considered trying to set up a weekend that my Dad and I could leave here on a Friday afternoon, spend the night on the way,  go on in the next morning AND then head back (driving straight through, to get home).

Sounds like you've got a pretty good schedule yourself there. ;)  Thank you for your reply on this and hope your trips go well.  ;)
