CB360 Spark advance removal
« on: August 15, 2009, 12:27:27 PM »
I am trying to take the valve cover of my CB360, I am following the manual and I have removed the bolt and I am not sure on how the spark advance is suppose to come out? Does it just come out, or is it threaded?

If I remember correctly, once you remove the bolt, the advance mechanism should pull right off the end of the camshaft.

You dont need to remove it to remove valve cover.
You do need to remove points plate though.
It is a sliding fit on cam extension, be careful or you'll end up needing new cam.
