I've seen that episode a couple of times now.  Looks like a pretty cool project.  The younger guy must be a fan of the 550 as he's got a couple of them and I saw an episode where he was riding the stock one around. 

I wish I could see all the episodes for the bike build from start to finish.

ya i watched that this morning, looks kind of cool,,,, except I'm not too impressed with the outside pipes coming off the motor, don't like the sharp bend at the header, too disruptive. and why would you put the ignition switch under the rear fender? besides that i like the look of the frame and the mono shock design..... we'll see

Yea, and good luck changing the oil filter on that bike, did you notice how the center pipes are so tight you'd never get the filter out.
