« on: August 16, 2009, 10:57:43 AM »
Hey there, Now I did a search on rear hub/break disassembly an found nothing, my shop manuel is really unclear on separating the hub as well, Could I get some suggestions how to go about this...I've taken the rear wheel of the bike so, I got that far...any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

If I remember correctly, once you get the wheel off, take the axel out.  The brake pads are on the right side of the rear wheel.  That entire side should come off pretty easily once the axel is out.

Well, I don't know if you HAVE to take the axel out, but you have to take the nut, adjuster, and spacer off for sure.  You can probably get the brake side of the hub off after that.
