This One Is To My Liking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mighty nice looking 750F DOHC. Kinda resembles the CBX, just needs 2 more cylinders, 2 more carbs and 8 more valves. ::)

They do have nice lines Bill.
If i could have another bike in my shed it would be either of these two.
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

I hear you, Rick. Nice looking ones there. It's just a good thing that I'm not wealthy, I'd have to have warehouses to put all of the bikes that I'd have and probably have to hire folks to help maintain them! ;)

That ST1100 would be a wicked tourer, the fact she is ex Police doesn't slow me down either but the price tag of $7000 does. ;D
The 400 would be a great ride for my short arse partner, if I'd let her ride it. ;)

Yep - one of my favorite of all time looks.

I like the 750F, 900F, even the 400T Hawk lineup from, say, 80, 81 & 82.

I like that black with red & orange and the silver with blue versions.

When I was first out of college, my roommate had a very nice '82 CB750F.  He traded it on an XL600R so he could go dual-sportin'.

Well, ya gotta remember - in 1989, an '82 750F was just another used bike...  And, if you want to go down a trail or two....   :)

Although, oddly enough, the longest ride he took on either bike was a jaunt from Miami down to Key West and he took the XL!  He came back with his right calf looking sunburned from the heat from the upswept exhaust cooking his leg the whole trip.   ;D   ::)

Sounds like he should have tried to change positions once in a while, and kinda spread that sunburn all over.  ::)  Seems like he is kinda like the perso n who goes down, spends a fair amount on a Four Wheel Drive Vehicle and the closest it gets to off road is a dirty carwash stall where someone has washed down a really muddy vehicle. ;D Ah, different strokes for different folks, huh? Course, I have had some cases of that "Hindsight and Foresight" stuff. ::)   ;D

I really like the looks of the F bikes. I wonder if the tank/sidecovers/seat could be made to fit my '79 CB650...

I don't know, I've thought about attempting transplanting 750F body parts over to my 750K. I know that there is SOME difference in the 2 frames and, knowing MY luck, it wouldn't work or would take a lot of mods to accomplish it. Anyone got a titled 80' 750F frame with body parts that they'd like to swap for and 80' 750K titled frame w/ body parts?  ::) :D  Like That would EVER happen! Of course I might be talked into swapping my 750K for a 750F. ;D

Ah, "hindsight and foresight"!     Yeah, I've had that problem myself.   Good example, I had a few parts from a Super Hawk (CB77), to include a very nice "Front Fender!" >:(  Have you ever priced a Super Hawk front fender?  :o :o    Around $150 for just a fair front fender and over $200 for a nice one, IF you can find one that has not been "BOBBED"!  Several times, I thought I had one sewed up and BOOM someone buys it out from under me for a ridiculous price!

                                                                                                Rant over,  Bill ;)
