FIRST- go on Tchnics website or just call them. Especially if there are water resistance properties, you can kill that using detergents. If you get no satisfaction from that venue, go to a camping store. They'll probably sell you a couple of products by Nik-Wax; one to wash and one to re-apply water-proofing. Most of their stuff is hydroscopic, so you spray it on wet, or rinse it in the washing machine.
