Topic: Tarozzi rear sets for cb550?

I've been trying to come up with a list of parts for my 1975 cb550k cafe project I'll be starting this summer and the rear sets seem to be a difficult area. I know Raask makes a bolt on kit but i really feel its over engineered and just plain clunky. The other option I'm looking into is the Tarozzi kit for the k1 k2 cb500. My main question is if anyone has attempted using this kit before and if not were any changes made in the frame/spline geometry that would keep this kit from working. I have a pdf of the assembly drawing and it seems like a reasonable idea. If all else fails ill take on custom fitting the Tarozzi universal sets.

I know this is an old thread but did U get the rear sets and did they work?  IM working on a 75 cb550f and wanted to get some rear sets. does anyone have any suggestions?  also was thinking about getting some omars and trying them out but not sure at the moment.

Well my project pretty much stalled out this summer and as a result it's been awhile since i've been on the forum. I have not gone to rearsets yet but in doing the research i found that the Tarozzi cb500 kit will fit our 1975 cb550's. Fastfromthepast.com has a good site and the best price unless you really do some searching out in the market.
