Kinda misleading in a way as a 3rd cylinder is doing the 5th "stroke".

Read about this back in, uh, '01 or '02. Interesting idea, but overly complicated for gains.

what engine isnt these days though. I mean they have sensors on virtually every little nook now. But .7 liter getting 150 bhp, that is not bad at all.

Last i knew they made about 120 but this is aimed at cars anyways. Plus the article says no major changes to current manufacturing would be needed. I wouldnt be surprised if this came around in 5 years.

The 600's make about 120 crank. The 750's somewhere around 150.

I know acura had a 5 cylinder in the 90s and the chevy colorado has a 5 in some models.

Those are 5 cylinders, not 5 stroke.  Or did I miss something? :-\
