saw District 9 - loved it

Subject says it all.  What did others think?  It really took me where I didn't expect it to.  I like that in a movie.
Is it summer yet?

Good flick, sci-fi can be a good place to hide moral stories.

Hasn't that always been the case?  :)

Glad to hear this one is worth seeing, was trying to decide whether to spring the cash to see it in theater.

Saw it tonight and I thought it was absolutely brilliant. Compelling, dramatic, humorous and believable at the same time. And the people blowing up was freaking awesome.

"Moon" is definitely on my must-watch list also.

And there's no shame in watching a movie by yourself, as long as you don't sit too closely to children.  ;D

It's an unusual movie and mostly original ideas.  Very fun to watch!  The main character is such a dork and he turns out being a hero of sorts.
