I pretty much just read on this board. Seems everyone already knows what I know and more so there not much use for me to contribute. I thought maybe I'd put up a few pics of a build I did with some buddies of mine. Although I prepped many of the parts and frame ahead of time, we build this puppy in one day. I had the tank painted ahead of time so all the contributors to the build could put their name on it the day of the build. I then sent the tank back out for clear and had the rear fender painted to match. The pics of the black tank was a stand-in tank so I wouldn't need to put gas in the real tank before clear.
I've got several other cb750 projects going and a CBX chopper that I have almost completed. Maybe I can get a few pics up of those. I know choppers aren't the deal around here. Lets see what you guys think of this one first. Not bad for a days work.

Here is how it looked after the build with no paint. I made a few adjustments but here is how it rode at first before jetting and tuning and etc.......

Nice job on an old style chop! How does that frame ride? I have plans for an eventual 250 rear soft tail framed bike. I'm collecting parts for the 1000 engine for it now but I'm also collecting parts to rebuild restore my 75 750F first. Nothing but lots of time and money. The 750F is close. I need a few more parts for the high tech 900 it will have. Next step for the chop will be the frame. Cycle One will do the frame. They are currently relocating from Regina, SK to the Tulsa area.

I'd like to see Glenn add a section for choppers too. It's only fair 

I think most of the guys are into stock bikes or they cut them up into cafes.

Yep I know Red and Kate from Cycle One. They are great people and produce the aboslute best frames for Hondachoppers. I've seen their frames with other motors squeezed in as well. Red did finally make it to Okie Land and their working hard to get going again. When you talk to them tell them I said hi.

jpswino, regardless of whatever else is on this board, that is a damn fine bike you have posted. I want an Amen frame for my next build with a very overbored K0 motor...but I'm still knee deep in another project so it's all just talk at this point.

Any goodies in that motor you have pictured?

Excellent job on the bike.  Looks professional. I'm suprised I haven't seen it on the road. What side of the river do you ride it Also your backdrop in the pics looks vaguely familiar. What building is that?

I am very happy with it. Runs and rides great! Its a tad small for me actually but that is the nature of the Amen frame, not my choice. When those frames are set up correctly, they do ride very nice and tight, despite what I have read about them being sloppy and loose.

The motor is bone stock. The idea of the build was to do it in one day using stuff laying around the shop and just make a rider that I wouldn't need to fuss over. Its a 77' with basically brand new carbs (gone through with kits 100% redone). Its hauls ass even with my 280 lbs holding it back. Man I love these motors.

spdiii - my Dad, a buddy and I have a hobby shop (for Honda inlines) in the East Bay Storage across from the Hampton Police department on Center Ave out past the old mall. We'll be out there all day today cleaning up for the winter build season. Give me a call and I'll let you in the gate. You can see the other projects going. I've got quite a few cb750 friends in the state we ride with quite often if you are interested. 989-980-5768 cell.

That being said the Honda Chopper site rocks, and that may be why fewer choppers are here.

Your bike is bad A$$!!!!  Are those handlebars considered mini apes?  I was looking at getting pretty much the same ones on ur bike...could you tell me where you got yours at?  Once again...great job and Amen to that!!!!

Thanks. Those are a stock bar off something in the shop. I believe those came off the 98' V-Star 650. Check ebay for the same bar. I bet you get them cheap.

Very nice build and I like it! Love the frame.

Looking forward to seeing more of your other builds...especially the Voodoo bike on your website - love that front end! Very curious to see it finished...love the long rake. I agree that we should have a chopper section.
