N00b in Illinois

I'm Justin and I have a 1976 CB750.  It's my first bike and I look forward to many miles of riding. I took the MSF class this weekend, passed, and I'm getting my license tomorrow.  I am located in Grayslake Illinois and will be taking my first few rides in sothern Wisconsin on some relaxing 2-lane highways.

The site looks to be a wealth of info with helpful members, so I'm happy to be here and look forward to learing a ton about my bike pictured below.

Welcome!  Bike looks to be in good shape.  Hows it run?

Good on you for taking the MSF course.  Remember, the learning never stops, ever, or you die.  Aside from that it's pretty fun ;)

Thanks to my buddy coming over, it runs good.  It was only running on 2 cylinders when I got it. ;D

Yep, got a jacket, boots, good gloves, and a helmet.  It should be a trick question, but there are a lot of idiots out there..

Ah such a nice example of a 750. If ever in Rockford let me know. We'll go ride around.

Hopefully you'll be able to ride better than Ink can drive.  :D  :-*

cool..i am in chicago. got my first bike as well a couple months ago, 74 cb550. runs ok at times, needs some work, just clueless and dont really have time right now to fix her up, this winter for sure. recommend anyone to help me out/work on it?

grayslake you say .... dude hit me up .. i'm in Zion, we should rip up lake county before the seasons over ... i needs me some riding buddies (i'm guessing you could use one too)
