« on: April 08, 2009, 08:54:44 PM »

Tore down the Super Hawk that I had and am starting to do a "Mockup" (using mostly what I got from Larry (okie) to check out some ideas try to get things lined out and see exactly what I can do with this one. Pictures will be coming as soon as I can get to where I can make them AND be able to post them. ;)

I know that this IS an old one, even though I didn't realize that it was THAT old. At any rate, I've been slowly getting more parts for the ol' Super Hawk. I've recently got a deal on a 66' Speedomter/Tach for a Super Hawk build. I say "A" Super Hawk build, because it's not going on th e one that I am starting with. Thing is, I was browsing ebay, saw this setup and managed to pick up on this ine for another build. I think I did good, comments?  I WILL say this, it looks bad cause it is dirty and I know that the valve caps and cam end caps are missing. I've got Cam end caps and some valve covers might be neede, don't remember. If necessary, I'll take them off of the CA engine.

Somewhere along the way I picked up a NOS one at a swap meet.

I'll see if is still hiding in the shop.

That'd be good. 8) See if you have an uncut front fender for a Super Hawk while you are at it. ;)
