Frozen Ignition Lock
« on: August 22, 2009, 11:04:53 PM »
How does one free up a frozen ignition lock?  I'm assuming that they're all similar.  This is on a '76 Trident.

Try flushing and-or soaking it with WD40.
Wrap a nylon bag around it and dip it thoroughly with the WD40,  leave it over night and hopefully it will release.

Coming over for Rosh Hashana?

Thanks for the tip, Jonah.

'Fraid we can't come for the holydays.  We've got responsibilities here.  BUT, maybe maybe in November.  We just heard that a young man we've known since he was little is getting married. His family is in Albany, NY; but he moved to Israel a few years ago.  We are partly to blame for that.  That might be the excuse we need.  We'll see.
