rare bike ?
« on: November 30, 2005, 01:17:23 AM »
Hi everyone,

2 weeks ago I was at the major motorbike show in Milan-Italy and showed pics of my bike to some people. And most of them indicated that my bike seems to be rather rare.
It is still original and has never crashed.
The color is beautiful kind of orange metallic.
Now what I am interested to learn is how many of these still exist. So if you have the same , please send me a picture of your bike ?
Thanks, Tony.

Hi Tony.

You could run a "K6" search in the gallery to look for others.

Also, while you are there, post a pic of your bike.

Plus add yourself to the Frappr Map here http://www.sohc4.us/forums/index.php?topic=5128.msg40302#msg40302 as we need as many European members to try and balance of those Americans!

Let's not bash the Americans of which I am one. We are descended from the debris of all of Europe and we made it work here. We did come in handy when the "civilized" Europeans started 2 World Wars. It does not matter where we are from, we are preserving classic motorcycles as best we can, so in that we are one. Japaneese vehicles to boot! -  very odd.

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?

Thanks Steve ! Good idea, but I am already listed on the European bikers list. I am quite happy with the old K6 although sometimes I am considering to get me 4 new exhaust pipes as the original ones are rusty / nearly falling apart....... The noise level is close to the level of a well know V type USA brand ( what was the name again?...... ), but than again, most people, apart from the neighbours, love the sound of a real K6 !
Regards from the Netherlands, Tony. ;

Tony,
Honda sells new exhausts for less than $1,100.00us plus anoother $165 or so for mounting
hardware. More than I have paid for 10 bikes I own.

I have an idea, buy 2 sets and send me one. It will make you feel good. :D
