seat strap
« on: August 23, 2009, 09:04:57 PM »
I have a 350F and it's in great condition cosmetically but it's missing the strap that goes across the middle of the seat.  I know that's a small thing to worry about but i'd like to have the bike as stock as possible some day.  The seats in great condition; so, i was wondering if i could just get a strap for it.  Anyone know of how i could go about getting one or if it's feasible to make one myself.  Thanks!

I've never seen one sold by itself, I believe they're a fairly permanent attachment (for safety reasons).   Shouldn't be too hard to make one, but as to it's efficacy as a hand grab I wouldn't trust my own sewing skills.   Maybe look into the seat recovering kits, I sometimes see them on sleazeBay.   They may come with some way to attach the strap.

Don't know how much shipping would be though.

I do have a new 400/4 one but no buckles
