there is a new simple green that is aluminum friendly now

i've used scrubbing bubbles and a bottle brush let it sit for a few then rinse. seems to go a little further than foamy engine brite.

For the greasy messes I use purple power degreaser...they sell it at most automotive stores in spray bottles or gallon jugs.

As a side note....


I save all my old paint brushes.......washed with MEK then dried.

We're talking house painting brushes.....1" - 3" widths.....

They work great to clean between engine fins etc,

When they get greasy and tore up I throw them away.

Fantastik all purpose heavy duty cleaner its a household cleaner works really good.
carb cleaner for the really realy dirty and gunky areas like on the bottom of the engine and  front sprocket area
