Anybody have dual sport tires on their CB?

I was thinking about the "enduro" look for a slight change to the stock look. Has anyone tried?

Ha, not the whole bike! Just the tires. You know, in case I want to take it off road for a mile or two!

I have ridden my 750's on dirt roads and little 2 tracks through farm lanes, etc, on stock tires, but like Clint Eastwood said "A man has to know his limitations"  :D   Need lower gearing

Would I really need to lower the gears? That sounds like a lot of hassle for some tires!

I have a stock 750 with Avon street tires (roadriders) and sometimes turn off onto a gravel road my adventures. I just keep it slow under 25 30 mph, if its hard packed fine gravel.  If it's lose big gravel more like 5 or 10 mph HaHa.

I have done a few gravel rooster tails on the 750 with avon street tires.
I grew up riding dirtbikes, so gravel and dirt are kinda second nature to me. But, as long as you take it easy, street tires do fine. Counter steering has a whole different meaning on dirt, and a slow, even throttle hand is important. But you can do it :)
No.

I was actually wondering if the off roads would be ok on the pavement. I like the knobby look.

knobby tires wear super quick on hard pavement
