Should I assume you didn't attempt to cross reference them?!

Look even though they don't cross reference exactly 3867075 vs 3867078 visually the only difference I can see is the size of the reservoir.

Part numbers aside for the moment,  a good thing to check might be the bore in each case as it is a key variable in your stopping power.  It might be in the shop manual for either along with an upper limit for replacing it.
