CB350F Cafe thanks for the inspiration
« on: July 20, 2009, 06:04:16 PM »
Some pics of my completed CB350F, I started with a $250 basket case but thanks to the daily dose of the SOHC forums the inspiration and advice was always at hand to see the bike completed.

Thanks
The seat came as a fibreglass blank called a "BSA Goldstar solo seat" if you have a look at "http://stores.shop.ebay.com.au/bron-moto__W0QQ_armrsZ1" you can see this seat plus others at a reasonable price (especially in $USD)
"uncovered" pic attached
cheers

Update from previous with the new tail light, I think better suited to the early seventies look! also check out the great job computer signwriting and a vinyl cutter can do on the sidecover badges, they needed to be remade to suit the shortened sidecovers, not the real deal but a good copy. I still have the originals repainted silver with badges but the look a bit cumbersome, my opinion.
Riding the little beast certainly brings a smile to the dial.
Anyway, just picked up my new project, a 79 CB900 Bol'Dor, should be fun, although I will still be back here for the daily dose of "inspiration"
cheers
