Topic: Motorcycle batteries....

OK been throwing around the idea of putting a battery in the hump on cafe seat. My question is does anyone make a battery for are motorcycles that can be mounted in any position?  Looking to mount it flat under the seat and also put all my electronics under the seat as well.  Been looking online but can't seem to find one that will work for me.  most the ones I see are a sealed batter but I want something in a gel cell like an optima.   I was told Oddyssey makes one but couldn't find one.   any help will be awesome. would like to clean the bike up and not use my side covers.

Ok that's what I thought but wasn't sure.  Ill have to call a few places and see what I can come up with.  Because I want to mount it sidways to save room under the eseat for my electronics and registration and so on.

My current 400f battery is a little under powered since the bike doesn't charge at idle so I've been keeping my eye open for something with a 12 amp/hour that's reasonably small.

Cool thanks.  I can get a battery through work but wanted to see what my options are and what battery would be best before I put some cash down on one.

Cool, they seem to be very good batteries so far. Even though the one in my 400 is 2.5 A/H and the specs call out for 12.5 A/H I never put the bike on the trickle charge and it runs fine. I did wire in a on/off switch for the headlamp though so if I am stuck sitting in traffic at low rpms I can switch it off.
