Dial-A-Jet
« on: September 01, 2009, 10:01:12 AM »
Has anyone tried Dial-A-Jet?  What do you think?? Any opinions??  Trying to decide weather to try this or spend the money and buy CR keihen carbs.  I have a line on the carbs for $300.00 or I can spend $235 on these or both, I don't know.  And if you don't know what I'm talking about here's the web site...  http://www.thunderproducts.com/dial_a_jet_techpaper.htm
Thanks for any info guys and gals

CR's at $300 are a steal if they're in good shape. They are proven. Dial A Jet sounds too good to be true perhaps. Anyone else every heard of them? You might need to rejet the CR's but at least they are easier to jet than your stock carbs.

For info on the Dial-A-Jet you might find a good amount on the snowmobiling forums.  Dial-A-Jet and similar products are used by a handful of folk with those machines.  Can't comment myself, no personal experience.

What little I have found so far seems to point it at being more for 2 stroke engines but a person had tested it on a v4 of some sort and it lost hp.
