« on: August 29, 2009, 09:00:43 AM »
I just got a set of 750a wheels off ebay for my 71 500 they showed up with yesterday the rear hub has no brake plate does any one know what hub parts I need to get this hub in a 500 swing arm or if a 750a swing arm fits (or can be made to fit) a 500 frame

Easiest bet is to re-lace stock rear hub to 750A rim.

more than twenty years ago ago i used a 750 wheel on a 500,

i think it only needed different spacers done on a lathe, but other than that it worked fine though I was not so aware of issues like chain alignment back then,
