Determining parts value???
« on: September 06, 2009, 07:30:58 PM »
Does anyone know how to determine  what 750 parts should run (kinda).  I've listed some parts, at what I thought would be cheap to buy and fair for me, but without must interest. I've got good parts but unsure how to value them. Can anyone help me out.

Blue, I haven't made a list yet, but some of the things I have are side covers, fenders, gauges, other parts. The parts I have are in nice shape for a 30+ year old bike. If you need me to post pics I can do that. check out the side covers... you tell me what they're worth. I don't have a clue. I'm not gonna use them on my bike, but I'm not gonna give them away either.

This will get you a idea of where to start. You will still have to figure out what you think your items are worth.

The way I value parts is by searching the completed auctions on eBay. I know everyone thinks the site is satans playground, but it's a great way to get a feel for current market value and demand. Also see how much it costs for new ones, if new can be found.

Sure it's for sale! How much you ask?? Well, how much are you willing to pay??? Now triple it, that's the price!
