Sorry to be taking up all this bandwidth, but I just brought it home for a resto project. The seat frame/pan on my '78 550K seat is rotted. The '78 seat is a one year only as far as the foam and unpholstery(elevated passenger's seat). My foam is good, so, I am wondering if the seat base from other years/models will work?
