Comstar bearing retainers ... clockwise or counter clockwise ?

I have a 78 750F project that I would like to replace the wheel bearing in.  The bike has Comstar wheels and I wanted to know if the rear bearing retainer comes off with a clockwise motion and the front with a counter clockwise rotation?  Thanks for the help
