sprocket ratios
« on: September 08, 2009, 03:26:54 PM »
I was wondering what is the best over all ratio to run on  the 750's?   what do the racer's run? which gives the best mid to top end power? etc.  What is available out there? I would like to try and run in the 130 club at Bonneville next year or at least give it a try, and suggestion would be great..  Thanks

18/39 will take you there easy providing you have a good power to weight ratio and good aero dinamics.

Like Sam says, power and aerodynamics is what you need.  A change in sprockets isn't going to increase your top speed.
