Save a Cam...Yes it can be done!
« on: September 10, 2009, 06:44:59 PM »
This cam was in a 970 or 900 something CB750,saw it run in the 6's in the 1/8
mile before #2 rod went thru cases, sawed its way around and bent chrome cvr
on elec starter,it hit the cam chain tensioner lock bolt!! I fixed another 750 for him
and got engine in trade, was I surprised when I took it apart a couple months later.
Cam is Engle J BR21.Don't know how safe but it sure worked!Bill
