i would post more pics of me and my stuff but I dont know how to limit the size of my pics...or how to make them smaller/less megapixals(?)...do I have to take them differently or can I adjust that after the fact?

You can use a program such as ACDSee to "resize" the pic.  This will
typically reduce the size to one tenth the original and still be perfectly
OK for posting....probably not for printing though.

the rules are  you can post a max of 512kb...most of my pics are at least 800kb...that program will reduce the kb's?

In addition to the utility mentioned, most photo editing software on you PC will reduce the size via compression. Some even have a menu option such as "save for Web" which does the same. One other thing to consider is your camera settings. Most these days provide different size options. The smaller the size you select, the more pics will fit on the memory card. There is a trade-off in quality, but for the most part, on a PC monitor such as posting here, it will be negligible.
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

Buffo,
I had the same proble, using the sts software to adjust the size did not work. On your avatar if you drag the outline to lose all of the area aound your bike, it should resize it, that has worked for me on some of the pics, Trouble is you can only drag from the bottom left hand corner, so make sure your pics are taken with the item in teh top right of the camera window!
