I thnk I do it, ed, mainly to piss you off. Since you are so adamant you are always right, even though you are not, it is fun to pull your chain. I think that is what everyone has figured out. See you could be given the highest levels of govt access on anything and you still would not believe it if it goes against what you think. Not only have you stuck your head in the sand, but you built a thick a$$ lead bunker for it. I would say at least it keeps you happy but you are probably the most bitter person about everything on here, funny thing is, most of your troubles have been probably brought on by you.
Here is my stance and it covers most anything political. Go back to the constitution, the original bill of rights. Add from there the real amendments such as womens sufferage. Remove the 2 amendments creating and removing prohibition.
Rewrite all the laws on the books for federal AND state. There are so damn many laws that no one has a clue what is still legal anymore. Limit the govts power according to the 10th amendment. Set term limits to remove career politicians.
Create laws against lobbies, yes even the nra. No need for the nra if the 2nd amendment is retained. Bring health cost under control, as part of this, control the number of worthless lawsuits. If costs are under control, then insurance would not be so expensive. I would encourage closer cooperation between states(not fed controlling states)to facilitate things such as conceal carry laws among many other laws. Mainly so states are on the same page and can work together.
I would also love to see our boys and girls pulled home from all these hell hole countries they get stationed in. Sure not ALL countries, germany, south korea, japan, they are fine. They are established bases that worth keeping. Get out ov kosovo, afganistan, iraq, and turkey.
Ed, I AGREE that things are going right. Our difference is that you seem to think the republican way is right when I feel the both dems and repubs should be booted out.
Also, I can't say who eldar voted for. If I meet him sometime, I will ask. I did not vote for Ron Paul either.
